Momentics phgrafx buffer overflow
| momentics-phgrafx-bo (43542) |
Description:
Momentics is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by usr/photon/bin/phgrafx. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted .pal file containing an overly long filename, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges or cause the application to crash.
