| novell-edirectory-ldap-bo (43716) |
Description:
Novell eDirectory is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper size calculation for LDAP search parameter storage. By sending a search parameter containing the string "null", a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the vulnerable service or cause the application to crash.
