Description:
BlackBerry Enterprise Server could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an error in the Attachment Service PDF distiller component. By sending an email message containing a specially-crafted PDF file attachment, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code on the system running the BlackBerry Attachment Service, once the malicious PDF file is opened for viewing on a BlackBerry smartphone.
Note: This vulnerability also affects the attachment service used in BlackBerry Unite!.
