Filesys::SmbClientParser directory command execution
| filesyssmb-directory-command-execution (43910) |
Description:
The Filesys::SmbClientParser Perl module could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by the improper escaping of special characters in folder names of shared directories. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted directory shared by an SMB server containing malicious shell characters, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands on the system.
