Description:

Microsoft Windows Knowledge Base Article 950974 update is not installed on the system, which could allow a remote attacker to exploit the following vulnerability:

Microsoft Event System could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper handling of per-user subscriptions. By logging into the system and hooking a subscription to an event, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system in the context of the local system.

Microsoft Event System could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper validation of the range of indexes. By logging into the system and locating a pointer to exploit code at a location predictable to an array, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system in the context of the local system.
