libxslt exsltCryptoRc4EncryptFunction and exsltCryptoRc4DecryptFunction function buffer overflow
| libxslt-multiple-crypto-bo (44141) |
Description:
libxslt is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the exsltCryptoRc4EncryptFunction and exsltCryptoRc4DecryptFunction functions. By persuading a victim to visit a Web site containing a specially-crafted stylesheet, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the affected application to crash.
