AppleShare IP 6.x invalid range request leaks information

Description:
The Web server in AppleShare IP for Mac OS may leak information from memory. When an invalid range request is made, the server returns an extra 32 KB of data. This extra data may contain sensitive information.
Platforms Affected:
- Apple, Appleshare IP 6.1
- Apple, Appleshare IP 6.2
- Apple, Appleshare IP 6.3
Remedy:
Upgrade to AppleShare IP version 6.3.2, available from the Apple Software Downloads Web site. See References.
Note: Before upgrading to AppleShare IP Web & File 6.3.2, your system must be running Mac OS 9.0.4 and AppleShare IP 6.3.1.
