Ruby safe level security bypass
| ruby-safelevel-security-bypass (44369) |
Description:
Ruby could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by multiple implementation errors in the safe level restrictions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the untrace_var function, syslog function, $PROGRAM_NAME environment variable, or other insecure methods at safe levels 1 through 3 to bypass security restrictions and launch further attacks against the affected system.
