Multiple CA products kmxfw.sys privilege escalation
| ca-kmxfw-privilege-escalation (44392) |
Description:
Multiple CA products could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper validation of requests by the kmxfw.sys kernel driver. By sending a specially-crafted IOCTL request, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with SYSTEM level privileges or cause the system to crash.
