Multiple Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch Series products session buffer overflow
| omniswitch-session-bo (44400) |
Description:
Multiple Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch Series products are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the embedded management Web server. By sending a specially-crafted GET request containing an overly long Session cookie, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service.
