xine-lib open_video_capture_device() buffer overflow
| xinelib-openvideocapturedevice-bo (44470) |
Description:
xine-lib is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the open_video_capture_device() function. By sending a specially-crafted V4L stream, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
