NetBSD PPPoE packet denial of service
| netbsd-pppoe-dos (44679) |
Description:
NetBSD could allow a remote attacker from within the local network to cause a denial of service, caused by a buffer overflow when processing PPPoE tags. If a PPPoE interface has been created, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted PPPoE packet to the system, to cause the kernel to crash.
