Red Hat Directory Server LDAP search denial of service
| rhds-ldapsearch-dos (44733) |
Description:
Red Hat Directory Server is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of LDAP search patterns. By sending a specially-crafted LDAP request that matches malformed data records, a remote attacker with access to the LDAP service could exploit this vulnerability to consume all available CPU resources resulting in a denial of service.
