Vanilla people.php cross-site request forgery
| vanilla-people-csrf (44748) |
Description:
Vanilla is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the people.php script. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, a remote attacker could send a malformed HTTP request to the ink or IMG tag to the SignOutNow action to cause the victim to sign out and possibly perform other arbitrary tasks. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning, and other malicious activities.
