Description:
HP TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a format string error in the finger client. By persuading a victim to connect to a malicious finger server containing specially-crafted .plan or .project files in the home directory, a remote attacker could execute arbitrary code on the system.
