Trend Micro OfficeScan cgiRecvFile.exe buffer overflow
| trendmicro-cgirecvfile-bo (45072) |
Description:
Trend Micro OfficeScan is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the cgiRecvFile.exe service. By sending a specially-crafted HTTP request containing an overly long ComputerName, TempFileName, NewFileSize or Verify parameter, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
