Linux Kernel sctp_getsockopt_hmac_ident information disclosure

kernel-sctpgetsockopthmac-info-disclosure (45188) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Linux Kernel could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by an error in the sctp_getsockopt_hmac_ident function within the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (sctp) implementation. If the SCTP-AUTH extension is enabled, a local attacker could send a specially-crafted SCTP_HMAC_IDENT IOCTL request to obtain sensitive information.
