Description:

Design Review LiveUpdate ActiveX control (LiveUpdate16.dll) could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to any known file on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the ApplyPatch() method. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the victim's browser to crash and possibly execute any known file on the system.
