Description:
Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to bypass cross-domain security restrictions, caused by improper handling of HTML elements. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page using Internet Explorer, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass cross-domain security restrictions and obtain sensitive information from another security zone or domain in Internet Explorer.
In Internet Explorer 6 SP1 running on Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with privileges of the user.
