Description:

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 957095 is not installed on the system, which could allow a remote attacker to exploit the following vulnerability:

Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a buffer underflow, caused by improper validation of file names by the Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) protocol. By sending specially-crafted packets to a vulnerable server, a remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges.
