CUPS HPGL filter code execution
| cups-hpgl-code-execution (45779) |
Description:
CUPS, included in Apple Mac OS X and other various vendors, could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code caused by improper bounds checking of pen width and pen color opcodes by the Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language filter. If Printer Sharing is enabled, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overwrite memory and execute arbitrary code on the system with "lp" privileges.
