| lenovo-rescue-recovery-tvtumin-bo (45839) |
Description:
IBM Lenovo Rescue and Recovery is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the tvtumin.sys kernel driver. By sending a specially-crafted file containing an overly long file name, a local attacker could overflow a buffer to corrupt kernel memory and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges.
