Red Hat nfs-utils host_ctl security bypass
| nfsutils-hostctl-security-bypass (45895) |
Description:
The Red Hat nfs-utils package could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions. The host_ctl function is called using arguments in improper order, which causes TCP Wrappers to fail to honor Netgroups. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass access restrictions and possibly launch further attacks against the system.
