F-Secure multiple products RPM buffer overflow
| fsecure-multipleproducts-rpm-bo (46016) |
Description:
Multiple F-Secure products are vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by an integer overflow error when the option to scan inside compressed archives is enabled. By sending a specially-crafted RPM archive file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
