HP OpenView Trace Service RPC denial of service
| ov-traceservice-rpc-dos (46028) |
Description:
The HP OpenView Trace Service, as used in HP OpenView Report and HP Performance Agent, is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a divide-by-zero error when handling certain requests. By sending a specially-crafted request to the RPC service on TCP port 5051 or 5053, a remote attacker could cause a denial of service.
