PTK file_content.php get_file_type() command execution
| ptk-getfiletype-command-execution (46380) |
Description:
PTK could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the get_file_type() function within the file_content.php script. By persuading a vcitim to open a malicious image and read a file containing a specially-crafted file name, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability using multiple parameters to inject and execute arbitrary commands on the system with the privileges of the Web server.
