Linux Kernel ndiswrapper module buffer overflow
| linux-kernel-ndiswrapper-bo (46437) |
Description:
Linux Kernel is vulnerable to multiple buffer overflows, caused by improper bounds checking by the ndiswrapper module. By sending a specially-crafted packet containing an overly long ESSID (Extended Service Set Identifier), a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
