Clam AntiVirus get_unicode_name() function buffer overflow
| clamav-getunicodename-bo (46462) |
Description:
Clam AntiVirus is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by an off-by-one error in the get_unicode_name() function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted VBA project, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with clamd privileges or cause the application to crash.
