PHP ZipArchive::extractTo() function directory traversal
| php-ziparchive-directory-traversal (47079) |
Description:
PHP could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system caused by an error within the ZipArchive::extractTo() function. By uploading and extracting a specially-crafted ZIP archive containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) in the file name, an attacker could extract files to arbitrary locations outside of the specified directory and possibly overwrite arbitrary files.
