Mozilla Firefox could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by an error in the session-restore feature. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page, a remote attacker could bypass same-origin policy restrictions and execute JavaScript in the context of another site or with chrome privileges. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks and possibly launch further attacks on the vulnerable system.
