QEMU and KVM protocol_client_msg() denial of service
| qemu-kvm-protocolclientmsg-dos (47561) |
Description:
QEMU and KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an infinite loop within the protocol_client_msg() function. By sending a specially-crafted message to the host, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to enter into an infinite loop resulting in a denial of service.
