Linux Kernel sock.c sock_getsockopt() information disclosure
| kernel-sock-information-disclosure (48847) |
Description:
Linux Kernel could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the improper initialization of the sock_getsockopt() function in sock.c when the SO_BSDCOMPAT option is set. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to view portions of kernel memory, which could be used to launch further attacks on the system.
