NovaNET DtbClsLogin() buffer overflow
| novanet-dtbclslogin-bo (49074) |
Description:
NovaNET is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the DtbClsLogin() function in libnnlindtb.so on a Linux operating system. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Note: Reportedly, successful exploitation in nnwindtb.dll on a Windows operating system could cause the application to crash.
