HP OpenView Network Node Manager OvAcceptLang and Accept-Language buffer overflow
| hp-ovnnm-ovacceptlang-acceptlanguage-bo (49363) |
Description:
HP OpenView Network Node Manager is vulnerable to multiple heap-based buffer overflows, caused by improper bounds checking by the Toolbar.exe CGI application. By sending a specially-crafted HTTP request containing an overly long OvAcceptLang or Accept-Language parameter, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
