Sun Java Runtime Environment Java Plug-in Javascript code unauthorized access

jre-plugin-javascriptcode-unauthorized-access (49457) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to the system, caused by an error in the Java Plug-in. By persuading a victim to load a specially-crafted Java applet from the local host, a remote attacker could use cross-site scripting attacks to establish a connection between malformed Javascript code and arbitrary local ports. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to local ports that are normally restricted.
