| iag-activex-bo (49888) |
Description:
The Microsoft Whale Intelligent Application Gateway Whale Client Components ActiveX control (WhlMgr.dll) is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page that passes overly long arguments to the CheckForUpdates() and UpdateComponents() method, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim or cause the victim's browser to crash.
