Apache Geronimo Services/Repository directory traversal

geronimo-repository-directory-traversal (49898) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Apache Geronimo could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the Services/Repository, /console/portal/Embedded DB/DB Manager and the Security/Keystores scripts containing directory traversal sequences in the group, artifact, version, fileType, createDB or filename parameter which would allow the attacker to upload arbitrary files on the system.

Note: This vulnerability affects multiple vendor HTTP server components that utilize Apache Geronimo. See References.
