Apache Geronimo Web Administrative Console cross-site request forgery
| geronimo-console-csrf (49925) |
Description:
Apache Geronimo is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the Web Administrative Console. By persuading an authenticated user to visit a malicious Web site, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP request to modify the Web administration password or upload applications. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning, and other malicious activities.IBM3
Note: This vulnerability affects multiple vendor HTTP server components that utilize the Apache Geronimo Web Administrative Console. See References.
