Linux lockd remote denial of service

Description:
The NFS (Network File System) lock daemon in some Linux distributions is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A remote attacker can connect to the rpc.lockd port (usually port 1024) and send a specially-malformed request to cause rpc.lockd to stop responding.
