IRIX gr_osview buffer overflow

Description:
SGI IRIX is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the command line parsing code of gr_osview. The gr_osview program is a graphical system monitor on IRIX systems that displays real-time system usage statistics. By submitting a long user string to the program, a local attacker can overflow the buffer and gain root privileges.
Platforms Affected:
- SGI, IRIX 6.2
- SGI, IRIX 6.3
