Pidgin PurpleCircBuffer denial of service
| pidgin-purplecircbuffer-dos (50683) |
Description:
Pidgin is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper bounds checking by the PurpleCircBuffer structure. By sending specially-crafted XMPP or Sametime packets, a remote attacker could corrupt memory and cause the application to crash.
