libsndfile VOC buffer overflow

libsndfile-voc-bo (50827) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

libsndfile is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the voc_read_header() function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted VOC file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.

Note: This vulnerability also affects Winamp.
