Description:
AIMP is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when processing MP3 files. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted MP3 file with an overly long ID3 tag, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
