WatchGuard SOHO configuration server can be remotely crashed

Description:
The WatchGuard SOHO is vulnerable to a denial of service. An attacker can send an excessively long GET request to the WatchGuard SOHO¿s internal Web configuration to cause the server to crash, which would deny any further attempts to modify system settings. The server must be restarted to regain normal functionality.
Platforms Affected:
- WatchGuard, WatchGuard SOHO 1.6.x
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of WatchGuard SOHO firmware (2.2.1 or later), available from the WatchGuard Technologies Web site. See References.
