| win-ms09kb974455-update (53544) |
Description:
Microsoft Windows Knowledge Base Article 974455 update is not installed on the system, which could allow an attacker to exploit the following vulnerabilities:
Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an error when processing data stream headers. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim.
Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper validation of arguments under specific circumstances. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim.
