HTML-Parser decode_entities() denial of service
| htmlparser-decodeentities-dos (53941) |
Description:
HTML-Parser is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of invalid HTML entities by the decode_entities() function in utils.c. By tricking the application to process a malicious string via the affected utils.c library, a remote attacker could cause the affected application to enter into an infinite loop.
