WatchGuard SOHO Web config server could allow unauthenticated access

Description:

WatchGuard SOHO Firewall allows an administrator to set a password that restricts access to the firewall's configuration options to only authenticated users. However, the access controls are only applied to the device's Web administration interface, and not to the objects that actually perform the given functions. A remote attacker could access these objects directly to modify the firewall's configuration, change the administrator password, or reboot the device.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of WatchGuard SOHO firmware (2.2.1 or later), available from the WatchGuard Technologies Web site. See References.
