Cisco ASA 5500 and PIX 500 IKE message denial of service
| cisco-asa-ike-dos (56341) |
Description:
Cisco ASA 5500 and PIX 500 are vulnerable to a denial of service. By sending a specially-crafted IKE message on port UDP 4500 that traverses an existing IPsec tunnel, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause all IPsec tunnels terminating on the appliance to be torn down and prevent new tunnels from being established.
