WatchGuard SOHO Firewall multiple GET requests denial of service

Description:
WatchGuard SOHO Firewall is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, due to a vulnerability in the Web administration interface. A remote attacker can send a large number of GET requests (70 or more) to the firewall to consume available free memory. The firewall must be restarted to regain normal functionality.
Platforms Affected:
- WatchGuard, WatchGuard SOHO 1.6.x
- WatchGuard, WatchGuard SOHO 2.1.3 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Watchguard SOHO firmware (later than 2.2.1), available from the WatchGuard Technologies Web site. See References.
