Microsoft Windows kernel-mode drivers objects privilege escalation
| win-kernel-objects-priv-escalation (57375) |
Description:
Microsoft Windows kernel-mode drivers could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by the improper validation of changes in certain kernel objects. By persuading a victim to browse a directory containing a specially-crafted application, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges or cause the system to crash.
